The new trend in high end golf courses: walking. WorldGolf.com has a great write up on this new trend and where you can take part in it. It’s not relegated to the inexpensive muni golf courses either. High-end courses like TPC Scottsdale and Troon North are promoting it. And why not? The weather this time of year in Scottsdale is absolutely perfect. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the morning or afternoon.

Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale is another high-end golf course that is great to walk – either the North or South course. I know a lot of people are excited about Papago Golf course re-opening this weekend after its renovation project. That’s another course (which borders Scottsdale) that is great to walk.
