As an NBA point guard, Steve Nash is a powerhouse on the court, and through the Steve Nash Foundation he uses his prowess to assist with a multitude of philanthropic initiatives worldwide.  On Friday, May 20, 2011 the Phoenix Suns’ lucky number 13 will partner with Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain to host an exclusive and intimate dinner event in the resort’s private dining room, XII.  Ticket sales will benefit Educare Arizona, a national network of early childhood centers dedicated to narrowing the achievement gap for low-income children.

The 13 at XII event begins at 8:30 p.m. and will include an 8-course spring-inspired dinner prepared by Sanctuary’s own Executive Chef Beau MacMillan.  It is limited to but a few philanthropists plus Nash (named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world), and will be an opportunity to raise money and awareness for an important regional program.  Tickets include a one-night stay in a luxurious Mountain Vista Suite at Sanctuary and start at $5,000 per individual and $10,000 for two based on double occupancy.  Tickets may be purchased online at https://stevenash.org/make-an-assist/store/sanctuary.
