Travel + Leisure ranked eight Scottsdale resorts among the finest in the world in their “2009 World’s Best 500 Hotels” survey. Winners included:
- The Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa
- Camelback Inn, A JW Marriott Resort & Spa
- Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North
- Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa
- Fairmont Scottsdale
- The Phoenician
- The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa
The ranking of number one resort in Arizona went to the Royal Palms Resort & Spa.
