  • The Arabian Horse Association was awarded best “Special Event” for its Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show at the Governor’s Conference on Tourism.
  • PRA Destination Management Arizona earned the Accredited Destination Management Company title from The Association of Destination Management Executives.
  • The Arizona Republic named the Lost Dog Wash Trail as the Best Scottsdale Hiking Trail.
  • The Society for Human Resources Management recognized McMurry Inc. as the fifth best place to work in the category for small companies in the United States.
  • Casino Enterprise Management Magazine recognized Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Vice President Bernadine Burnette as one of its “Great Women of Gaming.”
  • Trip Advisor named Sedona No. 5 on its “Top Destination Choice in the United States” list.
  • Successful Meetings’ 2008 Pinnacle Award was given to the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch.
  • The Videographer Awards honored Merestone with the Award of Excellence for Videography and Animation.
  • Meetings & Conventions awarded the 2008 Gold Tee Award to:

  • Zagat Survey’s “Guide to Japanese Dining in the United States” listed Sea Saw with a high score of 28 out of 30.
