The Making of the Ads
The Backgrounds
All background images for the ads were photographed in Scottsdale. Here, project photographer Kate Turning scouts Pinnacle Peak, the location for "Capture It."
The Studio Set
After the Scottsdale location images were taken, models and other ad elements were photographed in studio to optimize lighting conditions.
Reviewing the Shots
In studio, photographer Kate Turning and cowboy model John Cherland review test shots.
Our Cowgirl
Model Brooke Taylor practices twirling a lasso in the studio. A small sample of dirt from the actual Pinnacle Peak location was used to match the dirt that formed the studio set.
Reviewing the Shots
All elements of the ads were photographed digitally, which allowed for real-time review of composition and lighting.
